Funding and Tuition
Currently all of our graduate students have funding in the form of
tuition waivers and/or teaching assistantships. However, at this time we
can't guarantee funding. Although funding is available through
assistantships with faculty in various UIC departments with whom
students work, assistantships are based on project need.
The UIC graduate college assists students in finding, preparing, and
submitting applications for internal and external funding. The Graduate
College Financial Aide Office is a good resource for students. Although the office assists only
enrolled students in applying for both internal and external funding,
you might find their website useful as you try to determine what your
options might be should you apply and be accepted to a UIC program.
Tuition and fees are set by the Board of Trustees of the University of
Illinois. This information is available from the Office of Admissions
and Records website.
